Vegetarian dishes at Indian Jewel

60 of the 103 dishes on our menu are vegetarian — North Indian cooking has always treated vegetables, lentils and paneer as main courses, not side dishes. Every dish below links to its place on the menu.

How to read the menu

Vegetarian dishes carry a green square on the menu and on the QR table card; everything else carries a red one. The “Vegetarian” filter on the menu page highlights them in one tap.

Allergen codes 1–14 are printed under every dish — milk (7) appears in most paneer, butter and cream dishes, gluten (1) in breads and samosa pastry, nuts (8) in korma and kulfi. For vegan cooking (oil instead of ghee) or any allergy, tell us in the booking note and the kitchen will advise before you order.

Good to know

Can dishes be made vegan?
Some can, some cannot — paneer and cream dishes are dairy by nature. Write “vegan” in your booking note or ask your server, and the kitchen will tell you which dishes can be cooked with oil instead of ghee that day.
Are the breads vegetarian?
Yes. Naan, roti, paratha and poori are vegetarian; naan contains milk and egg, roti and poori contain gluten only — see the codes on the menu.
Is there a vegetarian starter platter?
Yes — the Indian Jewel Platter (Veg) and the vegetable samosas, onion bhaji and pakoras are all on the starters list.

Table for the vegetarians?

Mixed tables are easy here: half the menu is vegetarian and the other half is cooked in the same tandoor. Book online, or write to us about allergies or vegan cooking first.
